Spherical screen projection is a kind of new projection display technology, which can form an integral picture on the surface of a sphere through projection equipment. It breaks the shackles of traditional plane projection and supports the display effect of multiple windows and images. According to the projection direction and the projection of the large and small spherical screen, it can be divided into two types: inward throwing and outward throwing. The inward throwing is to place the projector at the bottom of the spherical screen with a fisheye lens to reflect and project the signal to the spherical screen for imaging; Outward throwing is to project the ball screen from the outside in four directions through four projectors, and to present a seamless and realistic spherical picture through edge fusion technology.
Different types of ball screen projection require different equipment content, but the projection ball screen, fish eye lens, projector, and projection fusion software are all necessary facilities. According to the size of the ball screen, the number of equipment will change. Small ball screen projection can be integrated into human-computer interaction, while ball screen cinema can achieve immersive effects.
